I know the idea of a phone number is largely an antiquated notion these days, but I would think that is also a consideration. Presumably you can't transfer a number to an off-contract phone.

I'm asking this honestly. Aside from "numbers," what does a 2000 dollar Sleep Number bed get me that buildling a rudimentary frame and sticking two $20 AeroBeds in it doesn't? I mean, throw some foam in there somewhere too, but.... the cost just seems too ridiculous. Do they have a patent? They must, because

That is the exact upgrade I did. It was a huge upgrade... except in camera.

If you can hold off till the end of March the next gen will probably be announced / released... ;)

People say megapixels don't matter, which is true to an extent, but even beyond some other issues I have with the camera, even when pictures DO come out well they're not "large" enough to be usable in anything but, like, a social media platform. Not usable even as a wallpaper, let alone a printed image, without a LOT

My battery life has been average (compared to other phones), but I gotta say I'm unimpressed with the camera. Ultrapixel or no, it just hasn't done well for me at ALL. Feels like a major step backwards in a phone that is a step forward in so many ways.

Fair enough.

The problem with not being able to read is... things like audiobooks, if you literally CANNOT READ A WORD, you woudln't even be able to find audiobooks, because you wouldn't be able to read the titles. Like, imagine if you went to iTunes China and tried to pick an audiobook.... aside from cool "covers," you'd be

It's not always that easy, depending on where you live. I have 3 or 4 common ways I get to work, but some of them there can be 8-10 miles between exits, and I won't "notice traffic clogging up ahead" until I'm a mile into that 8-10 mile stretch. Then what?

Last I read discussions about "flying wing" style the big drawback (Again, this is from my memory of it) was that customers / passengers aren't comfortable when they can't see outside the plane. It seemed like a ridiculous claim, especially when there is so much potential fuel cost savings, but... has anyone else

Don't forget this :

That was my thought. Rolling in the amount owed from a previous upside down loan. The only thing that makes sense, really — I've heard of 8000 dollars "cash back" on 40,000 dollar truck loans, but not a little $17000 car.

Is "Diarrhea Planet" a worse band name than "Fart Barf"? Because.... well, I'll let you judge.

I'ts pretty standard nowadays, but I want BBQ sauce on EVERY burger I have.

Hmph. I don't follow selfie news, so I only knew about this from the story and had assumed he took a picture on the field during practice or something, because otherwise, WHO THE FUCK CARES? Talking about some random athlete posting a picture is at least a billion times more pathetic than taking a picture of

He was in a place that he wanted to catalog, and was in a unique position to do so.

Oh yes I wasn't thinking about the liability side. At least that kinda makes sense (though is still kinda ridiculous).

The point of a picture is to catalog a moment in time. If you are somewhere, it's nice to catalog yourself in that moment. Ever since photography was invented people have had their pictures taken in exciting places, the only thing that's changed is technology (small, digital cameras) have allowed us to take these

Totally agree. Never understood selfie rage. Dipshit teenagers who spend every waking minute posing for and posting selfies are awful but that's not the fault of the medium, it's the fault of idiot teenagers. Anything they do is awful.

WOW. That is quite the scam. Ha.

You'd think it would go the other way, as your shitbox would become less appealing to a thief.
