I'm really confused / curious about why the blue line goes up so sharply at speed when "windows down" doesn't go up quite so sharply.

Older cars all (well, not all, but often) had that feature, I hate that it's gone the way of the dodo thanks to "smart" climate control systems.
Are there any studies on doing the opposite of the first suggestion? With everything that comes out about exposure to things helping your body create immunities, I find it hard to believe that spending 20 hours a day locked up in a hermetically sealed chamber and then exposing your body to all of these allergens all…
I think in general being not overweight jsut helps your body fight things better. I've noticed this as my weight has fluctuated over the years. I know anecdotal evidence is not science, but we can at least expand your observances to n=2. :)
"I am sure a material could be used that matches the compressive strength of asphalt to protect the panels,"
Oh I'm sure they're common enough, I've just never had the "pleasure" of driving one. :)
Dumbfounding. I mean, if it was a car I bought, I would have read the manual anyway, because I'm like that, but ... if it was a rental or I was driving someone else's car... it just wouldn't occur to me.
I know, I was just being flippant.
Moot point, since non-push-button ignitions are going away anyway :)
Push to pop open!? I have never had one of those, if I found myself in one (rental or something) I would be completely dumbfounded.
Agreed about 50k, but that's not the norm as others have said. There are some silly expenses in there, but in general having a large party is kind of expensive. I'm getting married in September. We're doing it back yard style, and doing almost everything ourself, including food... but it's still coming up on 5…
Swear to God, I got the exact same car. I had a tough time adjusting to the FWD in the snow (I bought it in late February), but other than that it's really been great for me.
It wasn't nearly as bad a decade ago - my '04 that I just traded in (for a Mazda) was perfectly fine, even without a turbo. But whatever tradeoffs they made in the interest of better fuel economy went just way too far.
My '04 was perfectly fine. Not a sports car by any stretch but no slouch. The '14 I test drove was near undriveable. I understand sacrifices for the sake of fuel economy but they just went too far.
I know this isnt' the point of the thread, but I have to say it again here : I was fully set to buy that car. I like the looks of it, I've had fantastic luck with Subarus in the past, I live in New England so AWD is a plus.... but it just needs more engine. Even with a stick the thing can not get out of its own way.…
Came here to say this. Survival is not a foregone conclusion for a handful of these (the kid on the bike getting hit comes to mind, too).
No need to be an asshole either, but it apparently didn't stop you, right?
Totally a joke, no need to be defensive.
How are your 30-hour workweeks working out NOW, France?!
Some launchers have this ability (folders / sortability in the app drawer), though you do generally have to sort them in folders manually.
