Whaaat, someone who lives in Brooklyn thinks Brooklyn is the best thing in the world and looks down on everyplace else?? Who could have foreseen such a thing?

Hey, cuntstick, way to respond to something from more than 2 fucking years ago.
No YOLO, the best we have is a moose.
There was a study that came out recently that said that older GUYS having kids were responsible for, I think, an increased risk of autism or something. So while we can still have kids older, there comes with that the increased risk of birth defects, just like in women.
Hear hear. (Or is it 'here here'? I always forget). But yes. This. And before a million people jump down your (or my ) throat saying they don't or can't sleep well, there's probably a reason and solution for THAT too
I wonder what the trend is of people keeping up with routine maintenance? Are people more or less inclined with modern vehicles (which are better about reminding you about routine maintenance, actually) to take them for oil and fluid changes?
Almost everything has a manual, just most of it not on paper. Google, for the most part, makes it remarkably easy to find if you're so inclined.
While I also "learn" by doing, I find that reading the manual still helps. Rarely will I plow through a manual and just now know everything there is about how to use something, BUT when I'm tinkering around and something happens, my mind has at least a vague memory of "oh yeah, that was in the manual" and I have a…
There's no reason, ethically, that someone "shouldn't" be able to rip something for personal use. The letter of the law may differ on this, but I think morally you'd be insane to suggest that it's "wrong" to convert something you bought legally to a different format.
Jesus. If you have a job that requires you to submit a doctor's note for taking a day off... fuck.
This is kinda nonsense. Even in the northeast, if weather is going to be bad during commute times oftentimes the state will urge businesses not to open, and many don't, and thus the roads aren't clear but nonessential personnel just stay home. Now, you can place the blame on the employers rather than the employees,…
I got about 2 grand (I got a raise halfway through the year, which I think contributed to my getting more than the usual grand or so), she about 3. She has a house deduction, which is why hers is so high, but honestly, neither of us are the most responsible "savers," so even though I understand that it's essentially…
I appreciate the first-person experience, thanks for the input :)
Well, I'm "single" and got a sweet refund check, and my girlfriend is "single" and got an even sweeter one, so I don't know that that really counts. Most people I talk to claim their refunds go down when they get married — is it because my friends all have good jobs? I mean... my girlfriend, who I very likely will…
I didn't need to work there to never go to one again. People can call me a "fag" all they want, I will never understand the appeal of strip clubs ("bewbs" being the obvious answer, but... context matters, sorry).
I LOVE public shaming justice. As long as we stop somewhere short of straight-up vigilantism... all for it.
Has anyone ever actually seen these "sweet tax breaks" taht are so often told of? Because no one I know has.
I suppose that's true for myself as well.
Shame they didn't jail you and take your license.
