On rare occasion, I have to do number one (happened this week, in fact, as we were transporting pies for Christmas and a sharp turn would have ended in a messy catastrophe), and even knowing it's necessary, I drive MYSELF nuts if there's anyone around, because I just KNOW if I were them I'd be yelling at me.

It's definitely a state by state thing. Some ... may not have "outlawed" it but I think it's against some rules.

The thrust of my point was more that you can't find anything to do with yourself for one day, not that you are alone on Christmas. I love to be alone on occasion just like anyone else. I don't need a website to tell me how to spend that alone time, because I'm a functioning adult.

Totaly agree with your second point. I'ts one day. Even if you're a scrooge enough to not want to spend time with friends or family on a day when everyone is generally happy.... you can't entertain yourself at home for ONE DAY? Not celebrating Christmas is the least of your problems.

This is really cool, but... I should point out... isn't this illegal? Knowingly not having a speedo means knowingly not having an odometer, yes? I guess it only becomes a problem if he tries to sell the thing...

Cuz fucking Bruce needs MORE fellating.

Don't worry, it was obvious to LITERALLY EVERYONE but WonderZimms.

This is the kind of hate I can get behind - wide-ranging and unbiased.

BeyondPod and DoggCatcher are both good. Did you actually look before complaining?

Ah, I didn't catch that. Thanks!

Thanks! The corrected version was so much different that i couldn't quite tell what they were correcting.

Thanks!

Can anyone explain to me why 6 is incorrect?

Why not? It's a season that makes people feel particularly generous, AND a time of year where people who work menial jobs are probably particularly in need of a little boost. If you have extra cash why not make someone's day when they probably most need it?

I think this is more about people you don't typically tip (mail carrier, etc). More like a holiday BONUS than a "tip."

A lot of people like him. He makes a lot of "controversial" posts on his blog, and comes off as very ... smug, I guess?

I'm sure everyone has different reasons for hating this guy, but I find he REALLY comes off as a pompous prick. Even when I agree with his ideas.... I hate myself for it because of the way he puts them.

At least for me, the problem isn't the tech but the implementations. All the CVT's I've driven (only a handful, to be fair) are kind of dogs, because they're all about economy. Gimme a LITTLE bit of performance, CVT designers! Just a little!

Thanks for the sleuthing!
