Starting in 1970 the Mark III had real wood appliques in the interior. That is real wood.

It’s veneer made from wood. My Caddy had it too. Used to treat it with Old English because it would eventually crack, split and peel off like tree bark.
Balls! NP. A Mk IV would be perilously close to CP but a Mk III is a special beast. Real wood, leather (under those horrible covers), it’s not *too* big (merely huge), etc.
Anyways, this is DIRT CHEAP.
Price is about there for all the other ‘71's I’m finding, except those have a hell of a lot more issues than just a…
Sometimes airlines spark controversy for judging people’s clothes, like when United recently barred two teenage girls from a flight just for wearing leggings.
Every story about the new Wrangler is being filled with comments about how it’s exactly the same and that it changes as quickly as a 911.
This is disappointing. Not because BMW is losing sales to Benz. Because they are losing their identity. The ultimate driving machine used to actually mean something. A X4 gran coupe M-sport whatever the hell has no idea what it wants to be. BMW seems to be answering many questions that no one asked, and this…
Hastily developed BMWs are a surefire way for BMW to overcome their reputation for lack of reliability.
I think this is kinda dumb, but it doesn’t surprise me that Utah did it
I’m involved in the government and see criminal levels of waste at the federal level on a daily basis. This doesn’t even include programs that have good intention, but turn out not being effective or overfunding of our military.
He did get involved, at least in this conversation. The point being that money is being collected specifically for the purpose of maintaining roads however those funds are being spent elsewhere. That is a problem.
“until everyone collectively agrees to pay more to keep our roads in tip-top shape, they’re going to continue to be a mess”
Good Lord I hate the advertisements targeted towards millennials. I would say that the vast majority of people my age (25-34) who can afford any new car, especially a luxury car/anything more than $30,000 tend to have things pretty figured out. Then again, nothing says “I am 30 and cannot do my own taxes or cook an…
Tremendously reliable, competent, good handling car that no one bought.
Isn’t comparing the ES to the GS kind of a joke? The ES is a Camry/Avalon in Lexus clothing and starts at prices significantly lower than the RWD/AWD based GS.
Definitely Lincoln. So much front wheel drive disappointment...
I drove an autobox CX-5 and honestly, it was lovely.
With all the money in the world, nothing is going to change if the people in charge are going to continue mismanaging the money and take years over schedule to build a section of road.
Any older vehicle is going to need TLC and fixing at one point or another. But that’s all part of the experience. With any car of this era, you’ll always want to keep some basic tools in the trunk, and as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you.
Agreed, but I mean, there’s a bunch of like stunt scene modifications and defects from accidents, in the forum. That would be one hell of a fake.
