At $35k ($45K out the door) this car will FLY off the lots, assuming the 200 mile range (probably 150 mile real range) is accurate. As a comparison, a Leaf runs you $30k, and you get the interior of an econobox with <80 mile range. Color me very interested.
This is complete bullshit. If he didn't rape someone, he should absolutely defend himself. People are raped and it's horrible, but people are also falsely accused and that's also an injustice. These things come down to pure "he said, she said" and that's what makes them so difficult, but an innocent person…
Hang on..I thought rear wheel drive was cheaper to make because it's simpler than making front wheels spin and turn at the same time :S
Why would a RWD platform be so expensive? Did the price of driveshafts jump overnight?
So an eldery gentleman with dementia who is also recovering from a stroke and apparently some other "numerous health issues" is "not the type of person who is in the right frame of mind to make an auto purchase"

You want a really disgusting show, search for "Train Video" and look for "Drops of Jupiter" — if you can make it through that early 2000s trendy, pop-emo crap without throwing up, you're a better man than I.
And some people wonder why Southwest is one of the most popular and profitable airlines? Low fares, low fees, choose your own seat at boarding, etc. It feels like one of the last airlines where you pay your fare, show up, get on, and fly with as few hassles as possible. I know that's why I choose to fly southwest when…
This reminds me of all the claims that companies "can't find enough qualified workers!" while leaving out 'for what they're willing to pay.'
There is no way an American President will ever have a plane that is not produced in the US. It just sends the wrong signal politically. I honestly don't think that they're considering the 777 twin engine setup because of the vulnerability of only having two engines. Yes, I know that the 777 can fly on one engine, but…
So basically, they're requesting a 747. Only reason to state four engines.
