Or just buy a Fusion, Taurus, or Explorer and save several grand more.
Tell them to make something RWD! Use a Mustang chassis if you have to. Or bring over one of them Aussie Ford Falcons. Both Chrysler & GM seem to be having pretty good success with RWD sedans (300, ATS, CTS, upcoming SS) and it seems like Ford is (deliberately?) missing out on this niche. I'd love to see a RWD…
This looks like the lovechild of a Phantom, an XJ, and a Brooklands. :D
The new MKZ is nicer than the old MKZ simply because the new Fusion is nicer than the old Fusion. This is the case with the entire Lincoln product line, and it isn't enough to compete with the Germans, the Japanese and Cadillac, not to mention Hyundai.
1st Gear: How Long Before We Stop Giving Ford Shit Over Lincoln? Anyone who is working to save Lincoln who hasn't thrown a chair through a window gets a prize. We shit-talk Lincoln like it's our job, mostly because we love the idea of a Lincoln that doesn't suck.
These are wicked. Oh man, Earthroamer or Sportsmobile...now I'm torn...
Lincoln dropped the ball a LONG time ago! And for some reason the powers that be at Lincoln are either totally unaware of what people truly want, and they definitely are not listening to those that do have an idea of what Lincoln is about, or can be about.
I agree with everything you said. One comment though, does Ford even have a RWD platform to even think about using? The Falcon is dead and the mustang has to be too small for a Luxury sedan flagship model.

My God Ford! Sell this thing in the land of the free! The Everest is the SUV we've been waiting for you to produce since, like, the new millenium! It's great looking and actually CAPABLE! Your already immensely profitable; Bring on some halo/status products to demonstrate that you still know how to build a true SUV!
My 84 S-Class has every few features that are not found on base models. The features I can think of are heated washer spray nozzles, and a heated windshield. Both very nice when driving in the winter. Actually kind of shocked that the new Freightliner my friend drives doesn't have these things. You'd think winter…
Please try to keep the herpes that are known as politics away from Jalopnik. This is an automotive enthusiast website. Just because you saw a story that had the word "car" in it, doesn't mean it belongs here. Must be a slow Friday.

I cant get past that stupid plastic piece in the grille...
Is there something from the video that was intentionally left out that we've missed? Otherwise I'm at a loss as to what the perceived slight was that made the biker feel his manhood demanded that he take a 500lb bike and "brake check" a two ton car? Was the auto that was filming perhaps not going fast enough for the…
