I could never, ever own one of these without a warranty. But I totally would buy one. One of my favorites. Some people think they haven't aged well, but I don't and have to agree that it's one of the best looking S-classes ever made.

Came here to say this. Tesla has been successful because they built a great looking electric car marketed as a luxury vehicle with the performance to match. Why don't more automakers get this? I very well may be interested in an electric car, but definitely not if it looks like a fucking egg or insect or dorky

1. Get out of the fucking car

I agree, and it would of course be in addition to (never replacing) the traditional RWD models. I think the latter category, folks who want a car with good performance with a low(ish) price, would be the target market. I think the demand is there, and they'd sell a ton in the Northeast, as long as they can keep the

Still very interested to hear what the default torque split will be. I think the system could be quite useful in making the MKZ better. But for Lincoln, I think the AWD system really needs to be both full time and rear-biased to make it competitive in today's luxury market.

I can't wait

As long as he doesn't make it look like a fucking egg or Koala

If they're doing it, I'm very, very glad to hear it'll be RWD.

I hate it. And I bet it'll look like shit after 5 years.

Incidentally, when I first laid eyes on one, my first thought was "THIS is the car Lincoln should be building!" That car is the sex.

Honestly, this looks really good. I think that having a slight inset for the grille gives the front end some definition and helps alleviate the bulbous whale look most other Lincolns suffer from. IMO this is the best interpretation yet of Lincoln's latest design language. It looks awesome in black. I love the detail

Looks trucky. I like it. The grille is a tad too big (it seems they all are these days) but overall I think it looks good. Better than the current model for sure.

The grille is the only stupid design that this car needs to be recalled for, Lincoln.

I have to agree with you there because I hate the high beltlines and bumped up hoods of modern cars, and it absolutely is the regulations that are forcing it. To me this Camaro looks like an even squnty-er version of the current car and the interior will probably still suck and I'm sure you still can't see out of it.

And how could I forget...

It has been addressed, by a major competitor. Looks a hell of a lot better, too. Mercedes is just being lazy.

Oh, where do I start...

I wonder at what point "luggage" morphed into the bulky, lumpy awkward wheeled contraptions of today. I struggle to find a simple rectangular suitcase, like this optional Karl Baisch set for the 300SL Gullwing.

Oh I know what it is, and I certainly appreciate the technology, that's cool. What drives me nuts is how fucking ugly it is. This is Mercedes-Benz, I'd expect them to engineer a better solution than that. Hide it in the windshield or lower front fascia (for the love of God make it symmetrical) like Audi does. The
