I’ve got a ‘07 GTI (MKV) now at 140k miles, it’s been the most reliable (and fun) car I’ve ever owned... seriously.

Nice to see manufacturers finally recognizing “light is right.” I’ve had several ADV bikes and yeah, 1200-1300cc’s and 500-600lbs is just waaaaaaaaaay too heavy for my tastes... I had to do some hunting and then some rebuilding- but my present bike is 400lbs and has 95 hp... Gobbles up highways while getting ~50 mpg…

+1 on the ATF and acetone 50/50 mix. Apparently it’s the go-to if you need to go nuclear on a stuck bolt..

True fact- they found dance hall ticket stubs in a Germain U-boat that was captured. The tickets were to a dance in Wilmington NC— apparently the Germans would sneak ashore there dressed as civilians to spy (I guess) but were so bold they apparently attended parties too....
