There’s a lot more to that hillside than just rocks... The scar on that hillside caused by a 5 minute section of a 3-hr race will be an erosion nightmare/eyesore for years.

Looks cool for sure.. and major kudos to the riders, but something about seeing massive destruction of natural habitat/public lands makes me cringe..... Are there no existing trails that are hammer-rific enough?

Well... there’s plenty of old air-cooled v-twins that make in the 90hp no problem with muuuuuuuch smaller motors than 1600cc’s... and there’s nothing exotic about them.... but I get that harleys aren’t sold for technology- quite the opposite actually.

So 1700cc’s of harley motor only gets you 75 horsepower..... what are they doing with all that displacement??? It’s like if Cadillac came out with an 8.0 Liter V8 that put out a whopping 130 hp......
