Sigh....
Sigh....
Yeah... reg-rec’s have a finite lifespan....(especially old-ass italian ones) I just replaced mine about 6 months ago.. Let me know if you want to know the beta on what modern RR to use... And fyi, it’s like only a 20 min job on the fants. But cool on your dad, sounds like a rad guy! (But you should steal his elefant…
Yeah, apparently when they were building these things, there was some less than robust writing used in the harness... For example, it’s almost universal that the headlights are too dim due to resistance... But upgrading some of the wiring is pretty simple... And once done the bike is pretty damn bullet-proof... What’s…
The Lucky Explorer liveried elefants came in either 750 or 900. 750’s had the red accents, the 900’s accents were black. But yes, such gorgeous bikes and waaaaaaaaaay capable off-road....
Man... they’re making it tough to be a fanboi these days.......
“Somehow, the video has resurfaced”
I’m not sure numbers count as reading... and there’s so many of them!!
Yeah, but I expected more from triumph... if you’re gonna offer only 85ish hp in motor, why does it need to be 1200cc’s??
Ahh.. I misread... well, the point remains.... that’s a big motor for a pretty paltry output....
Only 77hp from a 1200cc motor.....
Robot drivers would be life-saving equipment, for suicide-bombers...
Pretty low exhaust pipes for “adv” bikes.......
Egads that is ugly.
Yeah, I’m with you.. at this point an ancient design (but still pretty worthy).. But yeah, a twin would be nice cuz those thumpers are NO fun on highway stretches.....
They could call it the “XR650”.....
