You missed out. I have no patience for teen angst, but this show was fun, witty, and sincere, and did it all without falling into the “Only teenagers know what’s up” trap so many other shows and movies (and books) do. Luke Wilson in particular did great work.

that makes some sense...fairy muff then...

This. I suspect that other prisons, or hell even other sections of this same prison are made up of other species.

Due to xenophobia, the Empire probably doesn’t mix humans and anyone considered an other. Non-humans probably just go straight to Kessel or somewhere like it.

I just want those nifty Reebok Pumps the guards are wearing.

I would guess the Empire segregates their work camps by species as a result of productivity studies.

The last shot in next week’s episode will be the prisoners crating them up Raiders-style, and as they slam on the lid a stencil is dramatically revealed: “POWER CONVERTERS FOR TOSCHE STATION, TATOOINE.”

I'll bet it is later revealed that they are part of the Death Star.

Imagine when they get to see sector 5 where they dismantle what Cassian and his crew have assembled. :D

I’m wondering if there’s some type of weird aristocracy thing going on with Mon Mothma, given that she mentioned it as Chandrilan custom and she’s clearly someone from an upper-class background (I also suspect she’s going to get in trouble from her husband thinking she might be having an affair with the banker, and

Those scenes on Narkina 5 felt more like a metaphor for working at an Amazon warehouse

did I miss something or was the prison population a little too...human-y?? Same with folks on Ferrix. Again I may have missed something but was quite noticeable in this Ep...

I’m really wondering where Syril Karn is going at this point. I was sure that by the third time Dedra dismissed him and started to leave something would change in her appraisal of him. But no. If there is one thing we know about him, it’s that he can’t leave something alone, but if he is going to end up getting in

Low-key enjoyed the extremely on-the-nose discussion at the cocktail party of Emperor Palpatine in virtually the exact language of Republicans talking about Trump.

I’d say it’s much more an anti-bullying lesson than anything especially religious. He sticks it to Santa and all of the other reindeer by being the only one who can save Christmas, while helping a kindred spirit (Hermey the elf) and finding homes for all the misfit toys.  Gets the girl, too.

A masterpiece.

Just a blanket statement for the Hereditary haters who have decided to jump in:

As someone who loved Hereditary up til the point it collapsed into Mexican non-union equivalent Rosemary’s Baby silliness, I was pleasantly delighted by Midsommar. There’s still a lot of fanciful nonsense, but it’s handled much better in this film, and while it could have easily been 40 minutes shorter, I think it’s

I saw this yesterday - sure didn’t seem like two and a half hours. It really was funny - much of the humor was from the reactions as things got more and more out there, but particularly because as I get older foreshadowing is more apparent to me, and recognizing it can make movies a lot more fun. Certain things in

Just watched "The Witch", and although i liked it quite a bit, at its conclusion i had a bit of a "hmmmmm" reaction, so i can understand why some viewers are perplexed by the film. So here's my take:
