Rant.

I think if you did a listicle of “Most Suspenseful Trapped Sequences” then you could pull from all kinds of Disaster Movies. And then also include whole movies like “Burried.”

Everest” gets there too.

Odds they both get to play with their natural accents: 20 to 1.

With both a hope they won’t do it (because I’m suggesting it here) and a hope they do do* it, AV should do a rundown of “Best Trapped Character Movies.” Thinking of “All is Lost” and that Ryan Reynolds trapped in a box movie - “Burried.” I’m a half-a-sadist with some of these, caues these types of movies can make me

Put it in the Technical Oscars - and broadcast the Technical Oscars Live on TCM!

Personally, I would do Best Animated Movie every two years and then do Best Animated Vocal Performance opposite that.

I wonder if you get the Brits voting as a block once in a while, if it pushes a film over the finish line. Like in years where the Independent and Hollywood backed pictures kind of cancel each other out. Or I suppose that was Weinstein’s thing for 20 years. Lol. They could have at least had the book bite someone’s hand.

I liked Strange 2 okay. They started in a hole when they had Wanda go evil off-screen between Series and Movie. (I mean, she read the Darkhold cover-to-cover and it corrupted everyone else so... should have seen this coming. But I think coming off WandaVision she was in such a place of audience empathy that Strange 2

Critics both want something fresh that will take things in a different direction and want the same tone of the first two Ant Man movies. Critics and people in-the-know are fairly well aware of where Marvel is going on it’s two biggest tracks: Kang and the Multiverse & Secret Wars, because the comic books are there as

Maybe - real maybe - in a take-it-or-leave-it suggestion-kinda-way - cast David Harbour again and do a soft-reboot. I still think he was well-cast. Or put Brett Goldstein in this and get him tf away from Hercules. Thor feels done. Wtf are they going to do with Hercules? Unless he sings and they cross pollinate Disney

I enjoyed Full Frontal, but looking over the list... Full Frontal is fine where it is.
