Evil has a tongue planted solidly in its cheek. This looks like you’re supposed to take it straight as a shot of Licor 43.

Hey, they at least got Roz in the coven ... a thing the show was off-and-on kinda-sorta building to over the past 3 seasons.
The best two scenes were Radio Ga Ga & the exchanging of vows at what I assume was the actual real private ceremony - including Hildy’s meta joke about meeting her betrothed days - months - years (?) ago. (Sabrina has been 16 for three years, yo!)
Dr. Rand Fucking Paul.
Jared said, “Let the free market solve this.”
One thing I’ve always liked about this show is their chants and incantations are all lyrical and well constructed. The Magicians has their hand motions and the Potterverse has their faux Latin mish-mash, but ChAOS has their sing-song almost Dr Seussian spell-casting verbiage locked down and it’s always very enjoyable.
This is fair. I also suspect that Miranda would go down easier in an S1 & S2 binge.
I hope they pull a “Euphoria” and plop in a special episode between now and next season that might explain some of what was missed here.
I know, you’re right. We’re 400 some posts into the thick of it here (with 150 seemingly focused on escalators!), so I’m not worried.
Seems like an “it happened off camera” type thing, maybe.
(Spoiler Alerts?)
If anything this clip could turn out to be the new official (unofficial) video for the song “Get Back” now certainly climbing the YouTube pop charts.
Drive-ins.
They gotta get on the same page with their union too. Without coming down on one side of the issue or the other, imho, it’s natural and it’s tactical to retrench in this way. The Studio is going to zig ... the Directors are going to zag.
Thanks. Even though it may have just been exposition, I feel like I’m missing whatever was supposed to be in the the Asriel-centric episode that never got filmed. It feels present like a missing limb.
Is there any chance HBO is angling to make the last book stretch into two seasons (as seems to be the trend this decade)?
I don’t disagree with the rating. Each sketch had exactly one gut-buster, no more no less. It felt like they only had 3 days with Wiig to prep for this.
“That didn’t stop me from beat-boxing at the old-folks home.”
That would be okay. Start over with “Chapter One: The Pit”
Any chance the term “The Mandalorian” can refer to either a singular person or a singular tribe of people?
