Bret McKenzie’s work as Muppet Song-meister.
Yes! Just chillin on the couch ... wearing red cowboy boots.
I got a big laugh out of the red cowboy boot. Great call back.
Sometimes grown-ups find a thought or an idea that’s new or strange, hard to describe. Just like we all do. If we move to a new town or walk in a new park, you or I, or your mom, or your dad, might want to describe this new experience with new words or new phrases. These words and descriptions over time can catch on…
Zuko never would have made it without his uncle - probably. Catra doesn’t have that influence in her life. It’s kind of heartbreaking how alone she is, even while pushing people away is her own fault.
This burgeoning trend of Star Wars and Harry Potter soundtracks touring regional orchestras and venues with Live! performances has me wishing and aching for a showing of either Superman or Conan the Barbarian. I went to Empire Strikes Back Live with the Milwaukee Symphony - and it was fantastic. At least with all the…
Agree totally on both points, however The Black Hole’s score was composed by John Barry. I still listen to it! Its in my YouTube cue.
I’m hoping to find “The Million Dollar Duck” and “The North Avenue Irregulars.”

I'm optimistic that DC is getting their shit together. They just needed to cough the last decade through their system.
* My bad: Secret of Kells was 2009.*
Nocturnal Animals was a hard watch. It’s got an undercurrent theme of abortion that, for me, was difficult if not impossible to parse. Just existentially freaky all the way around.
Two years? Ed, Edd, and Eddy could have built the same thing in 20 minutes.
“We’re going to burgle Mrs Coulter’s apartment.”
Honorable mentions:
I like Mission Impossible Fallout quite a bit, but 2011's M:I Ghost Protocol is my fave.
Fantastic soundtrack too.
I'd argue that if there were a "Best Supporting Actor" award for the decade, I'd nominate Nicholas Hoult. After this and The Favourite. ... even the flops he appeared in - he seems to escape unscathed.
