How can pasta be anymore complicated than chucking it in a pan of water and boiling for 10 minutes. The only thing simpler is toast!

i hate when cooking shows or some such say 'cooks in only x minutes/seconds!'. they NEVER take in to account the prep time - in this case, there is a few minutes waiting for water to boil, which can be significant if you are looking for a quick meal.
