This one has to be the saddest surely

As an EE that’s been in the industry for a long time, Solar roof tiles are a terrible idea on so many levels.  But in short they create way too many electrical connections!  Pun very much intended

EPA - Everyone's a Pedo Always

Your comment is technically correct (the best kind of correct), but in this context it is based on a faulty premise. As far as I know, no automotive manufacturer is using truly water-based paints. What they use are waterborne paints. It is more precisely referred to as a suspension than a solution. The paint is not

The most interesting engine I ever took apart was the 4.2 XK six in my Jaguar 420G. It, too, hadn’t been run in years (around five, when I took it apart a decade ago), but the car had fewer than 17k miles on it. So I got to see all sorts of pencil notations that the factory had left on alloy parts, untouched internal

I already have one. For real... but with “juice brakes” . Something to consider is that you likely don’t have anything in your garage that will help you perform any maintenance on a Medium duty 12,500 truck. Something as simple as changing a tire or an oil change (5 gal) is a lot more difficult with the size of tools

“...I know a guy that off-roads an articulated city bus... “

I am annoyed that even a global pandemic has not ended the dealership model entirely.”

I worked for a while near the shore where there were lots of black backed gulls (see picture below of one standing near a normal seagull). When the tide was out they would go to the shore and grab crabs. They would fly high and drop crabs in the parking lot until they crabs cracked open.

And next on distinction without a difference we will discuss apples vs. apples...

Yeah, I figured as much. The sentence construction brought to mind terrifying tools with names like the bung hammer, the unidirectional turd wrench, and an assortment of pee rivets in multiple sizes.

These monstrosities are the Forester’s 17" alloy wheel package, you can see them on the Subaru website itself (I’d link but, well, Kinja don’t do that no more), this image is directly from the site:

The only way to get away with 6 spokes and 5 lugs is with a center cap.

Last I checked nobody has the ability to choose the family they are born into, so why dump on them for it?  If my dad had that kind of money I would have been a professional race car driver as well. (Not F1 though.)

There also arent a lot of inner city yutes getting into sailing or horse riding either. Expensive hobbies/sports exist. If you arent super wealthy you’d have to basically destroy your families savings to give your kid a few years in top level karting and get noticed. (Hamilton is often portrayed as being hard up for

I see “Humanely” too, was it recommended to cannibals? Asking for a friend.

Not everyone is capable of training for jobs with higher skillsets than pump jockey, and, with the march of automation happening in a way totally different from history, we totally need to get serious about this issue.

It’s for the people who looked at their CUV and thought “but what if outside trunk” or “I’d really like this more if everything in back got wet”.

Small amounts of firewood I suppose?

Way to victim blame. Guess you’re one of ~those~ men.
