It calls these drivers “Zoom Zombies.”

They might not make a fortune off you, but so long as you were quick and easy to deal with, they probably still liked you. I’ve had clients I’ve made all of $4 off of (Not hyperbole or a typo) that I still liked, because they were polite and honest. I just recently had a client worth over 100X that amount that I will

It’s not putting the customer first.

I always enjoy the “I would’ve done better” takes.

Came here for the victim blame, left satisfied.

Inspector: These wheels are all defective and need to be sent back.

I’m not usually one to pay much attention to detail or nuance...

Well, it was Craigslist, and the seller was waiting for him outside the house, and in all the excitement, he never thought to check ID!

Oh, a look.

I felt attacked from all sides — the bullying tractor-trailers on the highway, the flatness, the cold, the constant anxiety about where it would be safe to piss.

Jeep finally made a vehicle so bad, even the nameplate is being recalled!

You got it wrong, Jalopnik is a penis enthusiast site that occasionally talks about cars.

Cannot ever be unseen, thanks a pantload.

What happened to Elon’s sense of humor? Why not make this RWD strippo a special “Internet Car Guy” model with;

Does anyone actually accomplish this “set it to 68 and don’t touch it again for a year” nirvana that we keep hearing about on these threads?

No, I never made that claim. Go back and reread what you originally replied to. Visiting my parents is something I do several times a year. Either way, my next vehicle is likely a $40k Sienna that gets 36 miles to the gallon. The closest EV to that is the $85k Model X. The Model X would save me $45 a month in fuel

As an aside I think it’s pretty frustrating that talk is of cars with 200 miles or 250 miles and so on is based on a use-case that isn’t reflective of the way a maximum range would actually be used.

Motor Trend would be smart to just crush this and any other highly modified project vehicle.

IANAL, but if I remember from my driver’s ed days, the 0.08 isn’t hard and fast either. The reason being a functional alcoholic can blow a 0.07 and be, well, functional. However, a total novice can hit a 0.04 (for example) and be an absolute train wreck. There is a lot of leeway left up to the judgement of the officer

5k max for me and since I would never be looking for this vintage Merc, it would really have to be something someone put in front of me that I trusted. the wheels are terrible, it has too many doors and the color is terrible. even if you have to fully restore this whole car for say 30K it would be better in the end.
