Thank you for that, Liam. I was wondering how a constellation could DIE.... (No offense to Mr. Diaz - just caught my eye. Thanks for the story about the shower.)

FINALLY! A featured desktop that does NOT require Rainmeter! Yay! Thank you, Fiona_Conn! (And, thank you, Lifehacker.)
I am about to set up an old PC as my new HTPC and, until now, was having trouble deciding between Boxee and XBMC.
Right. ... If there was a stable 2.3-based ROM that worked on the Vibrant, I'd install it. TeamWhiskey is the only one that makes stable ROMs for the Vibrant (ones in which the GPS works at least half of the time).
Android Market says it won't work on my Android phone - Samsung Vibrant running TeamWhiskey's Bionix-v 1.3.1 (Android 2.2 / Baseband T959UVKB1 / Kernel 2.6.32.9). :-(

Thanks very much for the advice. I'm sorry to hear you're having such a complete, dead-in-the-water situation. Perhaps, while Mint is working the issue through "their queue", you could try FinanceWorks. ? ;-)
Thanks for the weigh-in, chronohart. Your experience with Mint's support sounds similar to mine and others I've read. I wonder when/if they're going to get serious about their support. I think more people would come on board if they'd step up their customer service and support.
I detect a theme here... sounds like the problems I had might've been actually my bank and not Mint. (However, I left out of my original post that I, too, had big problems with trying to get support from Mint. It's like talking to a wall... a wall in the distant outreaches... like in a Dali painting or the opening to…
Sounds like we had similar experiences. My bank was a small, local bank and admittedly had many problems with keep up with technology. When I approached them about that, they responded that I was almost completely unlike the majority of their customers - the majority is 65+ years old and barely knows how to turn on a…
Thanks for the encouraging insight. I'm pleased to see that at least someone is doing well with Mint. I may try again.... ;-)
The last time I looked at Mint (about a year ago, I think), it disappointed me by duplicating all of my transactions for some strange, unknown reason. This, of course, totally messed up all of my budgets and such. And, there were hundreds if not thousands of entries, so rather than try to clear out all the junk, I…
Team Whiskey's Android ROMs
I read an article that said that a definitive release date could be announce at the event. THAT'S the additional announcement I was hoping for (wasn't really "expecting it", per se).
I was hoping the announcement included info about the Galaxy Nexus as well, but oh well.
I can see a law suit over being poked in the eyeball by that thing in the middle of the night.... I'm still trying to figure out Japanese culture; are they trying to be silly? I mean, have you seen the Dole banana TV commercial that has bananas shooting out of a guy's nose?! Silly, right? Or, do they really want me to…
I switched to a small, regional bank several years ago simply because they had a branch on the corner of the street where I lived. While one of their customers, I was ASTOUNDED with the personal attention I was given just for having my measly $500+ checking account with them! There are many stories I could relate to…
