It sounded European.  Sort of a vague essence of ‘we’re cosmopolitan’.

The Mustang didn’t start out as a muscle car, it started as a pony car - not high performance but high style. It was originally marketed as a “secretary’s car”

Nah this is internet commenter brain. Not everything needs to be objective and easily defined, most people understand “soul” to be referencing a number of subjective and objective aspects that contribute to the overall experience of a vehicle. It is nebulous, but that doesn’t mean it’s unfounded.

cartoons, a “genre” that most Americans deem fit only for toddlers and the mentally-deficient... “

The “professional courtesy” thing among cops needs to stop. Forever. Seriously, do these bastards truly have pride in their profession if they are helping peers get away with crimes that they are intensely trained to identify and prevent? If anything, they should be proud to weed out and eliminate from their ranks any

I used to do work like this. we had a guy at the docks that would call when a container ship full of TV/VCR combos would come in, he would tell me what truck and what highway it was on

Having dangerous drivers on the roads should not be an acceptable alternative to spending money. I get what you are saying but this race to the bottom acceptable risk stuff is why we live in such s%$thole times.

Just one day of driving around Florida will demonstrate the need for better driver training for new and older drivers.

“Civilization was a mistake” - Cavemen

That would be true if anyone at a 4 way stop knew what the hell they were doing. They don't.

“Computers allow us to make more mistakes faster than any other human invention, with the possible exception of Handguns...”

Oh yes! There are several intersections that I frequent where people behave unpredictable because they’re “trying to be nice”. Some of those intersections leave one direction without a stop sign (to improve traffic flow), but darnit if most people don’t stop there anyway and jug up the whole works!

you can thank unions for weekends and a 40 hour work week. and you should read up on what happened at john deere and general mills when they tried to use scabs during the strikes last year.

Unions exist because of corporate malfeasance against workers.
