You know what will get Democrats more votes in Congress? Restarting student loan payments in an election year! Woohoo its a winning strategy.

Am I wrong in being surprised that thieves have already sorted out the keyless ignition security feature? I honestly thought those were pretty much unbeatable without an actual coded key-fob, or did the plant security desk just have a key box inside the front door?

Exactly, its not like trying to catch an iceberg randomly breaking off, this was inevitable in the near-term.

I feel personally attacked.

I firmly believe that every commonplace car on the market should have at least a 500 mile range. I am excluding enthusiast cars where weight concerns and a lack of need to travel that far in a given drive would be a priority, but passenger sedans, pickups, SUVs and so forth absolutely should.  Would be an effective

Who do you think received that money from AAA? If he’s dealing with out-of-towners renting SxS’s and getting stuck in the boonies or if its jeepbros in over their heads, the claim gets filed (fraudulently, allegedly) and he gets paid for services rendered. Beats having to negotiate with some broke-ass kid “hey man

I see the next big trend is buying a roll-off truck with a 40yd dumpster, build a roof on top and fit-out the interior of the dumpster and then you can just move it around, set it down where ever you want to camp and use the truck as a get-around-town vehicle. When you are done camping, backup to the dumpster-house,

Harrison Bergeron would remove that weight.  Just saying.

Sounds like what F1 needs is a playoff system, similar to NASCAR...

Bob, (sitting around the sales team desk at the dealership);Look, sales are down, if we can scare some elderly folks into buying juuust one more “last” car before they “exit the marketplace” we can bump the numbers before the end of the quarter.

Speaking of the airline industry; despite the living memory of needing a bailout after September 11th 2001 as well as the ‘08 Bush Recession, they crawled back to Congress in 2020 to beg for financial help because there was no way they could have predicted a downturn in the market ever again and so they didn’t bother

Its not the problem with the construction so much as it is tough to build roads and pavement in Texas, especially central TX. In Houston where I worked for 15 years in commercial construction you have hundreds of feet of clay and the expansion is less severe. In the Austin/Hill Country area you have a different combina

Back seat of the late 80's through late 90's 4-door Chevy Blazer. The rear wheel wells cut into the door making ingress/egress difficult, plus they are surprisingly cramped even for a modestly-height person such as myself. Couple that with the shame of being seen riding around in a jellybean-shaped vehicle that

Not a small issue if you have a gas RV and no accommodations for a diesel tank. I have the reverse, a diesel engine in the RV and a gasoline generator and two separate tanks sucks.

This isn’t such a big deal if you already have a diesel RV, if not then you are adding more complexity by having two separate fuel sources.  I know because I have a diesel RV with a gasoline generator and it’s stupid.
