I really don't think Gene is gay. I think most kids his age struggle to adhere to gender norms, but he doesn't care, so it comes off as proud. (Especially true because he's only got sisters, and clearly takes after his mom more than his dad.)

My favorite scene in the episode by far. All the powerless strong-arming in this episode was amazing.

This might've been the best episode of the season. B+ was unmerited. When a show's in its prime (as can happen during a 4th season), don't be afraid to give it the As it deserves!
