Aussie soap Neighbours is one of the successful network-swappers - one year on Seven, then 30+ on Ten. Apparently, after Seven realised that Ten had bought the show, they destroyed all the sets, just to make it harder on Ten to get going again…
But didn't they break up before Damon and Elena were even a couple? I could easily be wrong, but I thought that most of the Delena time, they were not a real-life couple.
They could only afford 5 seconds screen time for each of the returned characters and used Jeremy's up at the school?
At the time, I thought the TO time jump was to bring it up to date with TVD's three year time jump. But if they were keeping the two shows in step, you'd have expected some crossovers before now (in the previous seasons, not in the just-finished TVD season, since there is no TO airing yet).
Forget cameo, TO should bring him on full time. Or maybe they can spin off The Kai Show.
They've actually used a Wilhelm Scream before, a couple of seasons ago, when Will slipped on a ramp in a challenge. A most deserving target of a mocking.
His first season, I was watching in Australia so a couple of months behind the US. It got to a point where I had to spoil myself on the result, because I could not deal with continuing to watch and having him win at the end. There's been other players I disliked, but none that I couldn't bear to watch.
They kept talking about how they needed to keep strength for the challenges when it was the strong players that lost the challenge by failing with the snake! The puzzle section, and then Malcolm on the ring toss, easily outpaced the other tribe.
The best bit is how the website has decided for me that I want to read the next newswire and not the comments of the story I was actually interested in, but I still have to click on the next article to read it anyway!
Kate Winslet.
"Out for a walk. Bitch."
Yeah, they're still not right, it's like the 'Big Ben is not the clock' thing, but at least there is some rationale to their answer!
I didn't see the show so don't know the context for your glockenspiel comment, but the clock in the Munich town hall is called the Rathaus Glockenspiel. As the wikipedia glockenspiel page notes, glockenspiel is german for a carillon.
I might be mis-remembering, but weren't they vaccinated by William last season? Maybe that was for a different sample he was smuggling. I figured that was why Elizabeth and Philip were the ones to actually open the coffin and get the sample.
Don't do it Eva, don't let Burton do to you what he did to Depp…
"…the most sympathetic member of The Trio, Tom Lenk".
As an Australian, I agree. Here, the market is too small to support anything not broadly popular.
They are tonally very different, but both about a spy for whom everything goes wrong.
