On top of the sound problems, which forced you to turn on (seriously lagging) closed-captioning if you wanted to make out much of what anyone was singing, was it smart to make the opening number a concept based on multiple references to a movie that hasn't yet been widely-released nationwide?

What the media has to learn to do with Trump is focus tightly on one big scandal, keep covering it over and over and over again, and tune out all the mini "Trump goes on a Twitter rant against C3P0" or "Trump says he's going to turn the Lincoln Memorial into a Walmart" kind of idiotic, deliberately distracting noise.

The biggest surprise in all of this is that (as far as I can tell) Trump has yet to personally attack this woman on Twitter.
