I’m a guy in my late 40s. I’m actively dating. It’s going fine.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Toll roads internalize a cost that normally is externalized and shouldn’t be. Pay the tolls.

Holy mother of pearl - $140 for a set of sheets? Do they make themselves?

I bought the next generation of these about 3 weeks ago, and I’m less than impressed.

I can’t get any of the clips above to play. They’re all gray and have pixelated sad faces. But I really hope one of them is about “tv pix” the video game that they had kids play by saying the word “pix” into the phone at just the right time. Because that was compelling viewing to this oversugared 11-year-old.

I tried a few times to change mine, and keep getting a message that my password is “too easy to guess” even though I’m up to a string of 50 LP-generated characters. Anybody else finding that?

How is this different from the $20 no-name one I bought for $18 the other day at the hardware store? 300' vs 200' range, I guess, but don’t see how that’s ever going to be an issue, and the extra probe, but I could buy a whole second one and still spend less than this.

If you’re in a multiple-car accident, make sure you get the full police report. I was in a four-car accident in Chicago, three years ago.

I got the 12/12, I was able to figure out what they were looking for. But “amplitude or height?” Sound waves are longitudinal waves - there’s no height. And you don’t need uranium to make nuclear energy OR nuclear weapons. And what the hell does astrology have to do with science?

Now playing

I’ll give you that, but I also think this is worthwhile:

Horseshit. The Cat in the Hat is terrible. Sure, it’s fun. Sure, the kids want you read it to them again and again. But that cat is a complete, total asshole.

Aw, man. Now I have to be that guy. Not all swiss cheese has holes, guys. I mean, it doesn’t sound like she was asking “is your swiss the kind with holes or the kind without holes?” So I vote stupid. But there is a non-stupid reason for asking a similar question.

First condo I ever bought. Two downstairs neighbor situations. One ended happily, one did not.

Story as a customer, not as a restaurant worker. I lived in Chicago for most of the 90s, and for a couple years I was in a neighborhood that the landlord called Buena Park, because it was a way of not having to say “Uptown” out loud. (People who are still there: is there still a broasted chicken place on Montrose with

Feh. IMDB app doesn’t know about the local Alamo Drafthouse. What good can it possibly be?

Good thing it wasn’t tungsten, huh?
