I love that they're going to try and blame any problems this movie has on piracy, and not the fact that Rhonda Rousey's acting was seriously terrible. Oh and it's just a horrible overall movie.

Yeah, it was clearly meant to be tongue firmly planted in cheek with the naming. Especially since Sphinxor is outside the fourth wall and references Stan The Man. But if they did a movie, I would hope they would re name him and give his intro more gravitas.

Actually, when I re-read the original Dragonlance novels, I found I liked them better than Fire and Ice. The Fire and Ice series is a great drama, but a terrible fantasy story. It doesn't capture the imagination the way Dragonlance or even Forgotten Realms novels did.
