See I don’t hate his GotG run, but it definitely hasn’t been consistent. Which is, as I’ve been discussing with others on this board, one of Bendis’ greatest flaws. I think he’s a decent at crafting stories and building good relationships, but he’ll abandon them at the drop of a hat in favor of some new idea or

She crossed over a lot in All-New and Uncanny X-Men and now she’s hanging out with the Guardians of the Galaxy. She’s got a real cool relationship going on with Peter Quill (which is now rocky because comics). Ultimate Kitty is also great. Like really great.

Good point. Consistency with character hasn’t always been his strongest suit. I think maybe he’s very comfortable juggling around character in favor of story. I don’t argue his ability as a storyteller, but I think you’re right about character consistency.

I honestly think Jean is the bigger crime here. She went from being the X-Men’s sweetheart to just being an absolute horrible person.

I definitely agree on Kurt, but we all know Kitty Pryde is both heart and soul. She’s my heart and soul anyway.

No worries and thanks. I completely understand that perspective and I even sympathize with it.

Marvel’s been doing it for a while. They have some great gay characters, but lately it seems like showcasing gay characters has been one of their main objectives. It gets to the point where it’s not genuine anymore and it’s clearly only done to make headlines. “We’re Marvel. Look How Diverse and Accepting We Are.”

I guess we’re done man. I’m all for having a conversation about how this is a “diversity issue vs. an executive issue” scenario, but you’ve defined and labeled me from the get-go based on nothing more than an honest opinion and I can’t convince you otherwise.

My man, all I did was state my opinion over a change to a character that I, and many others, don’t agree with. There wasn’t an ounce of hatred coming out of my words, no name-calling and no racist/bigoted/homophobic speech. I even championed Marvel creating new gay characters (which there are currently no shortage of)

I will never understand what Leifeld had against feet.

Basically because he has a track record with this type of thing with a lot of characters, even some that he himself has created. It more or less spits in the face of what fans of said characters have grown to know and love about them all for the sake of “shaking things up” so to speak.

Between the two of us, you’re the only one thus far who’s spewing hate and calling names.

It’s not at all bigoted to not be on board with such a drastic character change that had nearly zero build-up and ignores about half a century’s worth of established character growth. It’s pretty clear that Bendis shoehorned it in to fit his own narrative, and it’s not the first time he’s done stuff like this with

I’ve really lost interest in this series. It was kind of cute when it started, but the novelty of it all ran out pretty quick.

So here’s my dumb question that I’m sure there’s a logical explanation for:

Right. I’m fine with Sam doing his own thing, especially since his inaugural run differed very little from Remender’s former run with Steve. But don’t turn Steve into the crotchety old man stereotype just because you can’t think of a better reason for the two of them to butt heads.

Seems like the writers really had to reach to find a reason for the two to clash. Sam says that Steve believes his country will always do the right thing. Since when? Steve is always butting heads with the government/SHIELD. That was the entire premise of Civil War! He believes in the country’s people more than its

I’m fine with them throwing caution to the wind in regards to continuity to deliver some better Titans stories. The biggest issue with New-52 era Titans has been the never ending in-fighting. That and convoluted storylines that never really go anywhere. Tim does a pretty decent job of leading the team, but most of

I still haven’t gotten through expert on 100 Mario Challenge yet. About 70% of the levels generated are Japanese and for whatever reason they all troll hard.

That’s why my theory is that the NX might work in tandem with the Wii U. The machine has plenty of value and it’s just too soon to completely write it off. I have no idea how they would do that, but it makes the most sense to me.
