I found a good way of not answering all mails is by reading them on my phone (Android + Gmail = great) even if I am at my computer already. Very often I simply call the sender then instead of typing a long response - most of the time even more things are sorted out this way than were mentioned in the initial mail.

@MrTreehorn: I want to say "Yes!" but couldn't it be that LastPass is exactly one of those webservices the comic talks about?

XBMC lets you shift the subtitle from +10sec. to -10sec and even saves the setting for the next viewing.

@AlexJAnder: LOL! I actually meant the USA with "beautiful and amazing" :-D. Been to Italy quite often and to the US once - both fantastic.

@bayXSonic: I say: get out there! If you can afford it (and I really hope you can) get on a bus, train, whatever and leave. There are affordable rooms almost everywhere (check tripadvisor.com or something).

I hoped it would also show the stats for my A2SD partition (classic, not FroYo App2SD) but I'm out of luck (again).

@Robert Cowie: Problem is that there is no official API for Google Tasks. Gtasks and gTasks manage to sync some other way, either they have access to an unofficial API or they use a workaround like the web service of Tasks. The community begs for an official API for a long time now but Google doesn't move (even though

I put my bookmarks (favicons only) in the menu bar and hide the menu items with [userstyles.org] for Stylish - saves a lot of space. And if I need the menu I hover over the menu icon and it slides out again.

@Antony_256: On my build 7.0.503.o dev the —enable-vertical-tabs stopped working. Also —bookmark-menu doesn't work anymore. Can anyone confirm that?

@jbarr: You could also assign it as a logon script either for your user account or all accounts. Then the command window won't show up, too and the drive is mounted immediately on login (so you could use it in other startup folder scripts).

@zophiel: I am pretty sure that's not too hard to do because there are a lot of 5-day-forecast configs for rainmeter out there. You would just have to combine them. Maybe duplicate the date bar for a nice background, delete the text in it, and put a forecast on top of it.

@utkhexon: and @sheepguy42: Oh, I didn't know that! That's horrible!

@fauxtrot: Yes and no. If they are really better than it's just fair. But in my experience most of the "better" ones are just better at selling what they do. Either way you can try to learn what someone did better than you and the next time you're that step ahead of the others.

@rhoderickj: You are looking at it the wrong way. The internet reminds me that no matter what I do there are millions of people who did worse. Those who did it better are those you can learn from.

When it comes to eggs it's (certified) "organic only". They may be a bit more expensive but not only are they healthier and tastier but also I feel better knowing they don't come from chicken living in horrible tiny cages (if you call that living).

@Vesta: I think the hardest part is that good enough seems to be pretty different for coder and customer. Whenever I implement features for customers and I tell them "it's good enough, let's just bring it online and do the little rest afterwards" they like to hold everything back because of the tiniest things.
