@mano.swerts: I am not quite sure but aren't labels just IMAP folders? So if you know how to move or copy mails from one folder to another via IMAP you can use that. If you want to assign multiple labels you have to copy the mail (yeah, kind of sucks, I know). There are plenty of IMAP libraries out there. I tried

When I was in NYC I tried to buy two tickets for the Museum of Natural History with my CC. It was rejected (happend a lot in the US with my darn German CC) and I paid cash. Later when I checked my bill I realized I got charged twice for tickets I didn't even get!

A little OT: Mr. Jack is great! We love to play it. A great tip for everyone who's looking for a board game for two.

@rchase001: Running a local DNS is especially great in countries where ISPs are forced by law to redirect certain requests like in France, Great Britain and maybe soon in Germany. Get yourself a caching server that gets its data from an unfiltered public one and you are good to go.

@CIM: I don't undestand why people waste strength on carrying around 15"-Notebooks to go to Gmail and Lifehacker at a coffee house once in a while.

Pretty sure the best way to do this is by defining a specific directory before install. In vlite (or nlite if you want to use XP) you can specify a different user path or you can do it manually by editing/creating the [unattended.xml] in the root directory of your windows install dvd.

I own not a Toyota but a Renault Clio that was recalled a while ago (the horn suddenly started and wouldn't stop until you turn offthe car).

@TheLoneIguana: Absolutely! I just have to find out how I turn up the volume of Buddha Machine a bit because I almost can't hear it.

For Symbian there is the free app "FreiMinMon" in German ([www.md-soft.info]) available. English users have to wait for a few more days for FreeMinMon ([www.md-soft.info]) ...

I think the link behind "even if you've already got some form of backup in place, there's still a good chance that you're doing it wrong." should go to [lifehacker.com] - just seems more logical.

@Wolfkstaag: World of Goo FTW! My productivity killer No. 1 for quite a time. I'm glad I'm over it ...

Nothing. My computers, my phone, my tv - everything off and not only on stand-by but totally off. Saves a lot of money so in a way I maintenance my bank account at night.

@mike.m: I am kind of on your side here. At home everybody can consume as much porn, youtube, warez, facebook, whatever as they like because they only put themselves in danger. But at work ... well, we should _work_. I am totally against censorship but thats a whole other thing. Whoever pays the bill for internet gets

@irish_stickman: I upgraded my eee901 with 2GB in about 3 minutes. This netbook is like made for upgrading. The 2GB cost about 12EUR (which is less than 20USD I think) and are worth every cent.

@mattarse: I use a portable keepass version in my dropbox. I can access it from pretty much everywhere and it is always in sync.

@ACF: Question: if you boot with thaat setup, isn't the profile not found? Profile information is loaded prior to autorun with truecrypt in it so Windows can't access your profile in your user folder.

@Alan Rosenthal: I second the question! Does anyone know a good way to rip each episode into one file automatically? And name it correctly like Seriesname.S01E01.avi?

A quite good and free alternative to AnyDVD is DVD43. Maybe not as up to date as AnyDVD but hey, it's free.

I still use 32-bit because one of my favorite games (ParaWorld) refuses to work in 64-bit. Tried to play it in a VM but then the copy protection strikes back.
