Chewing up the scene is right. Not seen JM in anything else so I want to believe he can act. Sometimes he's embarrassingly bad.

It's not that he portrays a bad character. Hell, they are all bad. His acting range is nonexistent. He shouts his dialogue at the same pitch and intensity. His power is volume.
