“Hurr durr why do people play games that I don’t”
“Hurr durr why do people play games that I don’t”
“People play games I dont!?”
You’re trying to sound superior, but end up sounding naive and out of the loop
No. That doesn’t make any sense at all. Prototypes and dev kits have never, and will never represent a generation. Retail releases represent a generation. By your logic, pokemon is on the 700,000th generation, since each new build/update to each game is a generation. In the real world, its one generation per retail…
Well I agree with the bunch of articles that say its the future. It’s only going to get better and more streamlined. Soon the headsets will look more like glasses, the wires will go away, it will become cheaper and cheaper, until VR is a $49 set of wireless glasses by 2020. Just give it time, you can’t fight it. The…
You should know that you non-believers of VR are a vocal minority. The majority of us understand that the technology is finally advanced enough to reach true brain-tricking immersion, and we are all excited for the tech demos coming. It annoys me so much that 99.5% of “VR is a gimmick” people haven’t even tried it,…
Quit being an elitist ass hole. He didn’t imply WoW made the system. The article asked the question “I think this is standard in most MMOs, though?” and the commenter replied “Yeah, WoW has it too.” Sounds like you’re one of those MMO elitist douches who hates any mention of WoW because its so popular.
You’re complaining that casual is too casual, and not as competitive as competitive...? Of course no one makes callouts or cares in casual, its CASUAL. It SHOULD have a completely different experience from competitive.
You know that the whole “unlocking competitive by playing casual” is to deter smurfs and hackers who buy brand new accounts just to hack? Now they have to play for a few hours to hack in competitive. I’ve noticed a drastic cut down on the number of hackers and smurfs in competitive since that change was made. which is…
Are marketing departments really so dumb that they don’t realize ANYTHING ending in “today!” sounds super ad-like, and people ignore it? “Get the game today!” “Try it out today!” “Join the action today!” My god, they all sound so campy and unnatural. If I heard a youtube personality say that, even if i liked them, I’d…
Calling out a gaming journalist for writing about an enjoyable game on a gaming website is not a valid point.
You didn’t know people still play this? How cute....
There is a huge false parallel, in that one is willingly and graciously donating charity to a man down on his luck, from the goodness of your heart, to a person you feel some sort of connection to (in this case, he produced a damn good game for us), and the other is a huge permanent raise in the forced tax rate so the…
I was trolling the troll. You might say I was being a.... (takes off sunglasses) CounterTroll.
Hey Mr. Pedantic, he meant that modding creativity/capabilities is why he loves games like Fallout
Are you referring to the cow farming thing? That wasn’t a glitch or exploit. That was just the developers not realizing how easy it would be to farm cows for their precious hide. Even still, never saw anyone complain about that being patched.
I haven’t been to GameFAQs since like 2006.. But I guess thats a good thing, considering their community is apparently so shitty and pestilent that they complain that patching out exploits ruins their gameplay.
“hurrdurr im gonna come on gaming websites and start pointless political arguments that won’t change anyone’s position”
Wait....people asking for balance turned you off of competitive multiplayer games...?
I don’t see anyone saying that, and have literally never heard that argument in my life. Also, people don’t care if you cheat in single player games, only multiplayer. So I have no idea where on earth any of your ‘points’ are coming from or why you seem distressed by it.
So Fallout 4 has overtaken Destiny as “the game its cool to hate on”? Get over yourself lol
