bikes need VERY linear power/torque curves. turbos and FI used to mean that was right out the window (the 80s did turbos because it was the 80s...TURBO EVERYTHING) . with modern tech, we are slowing bring it back (see: kawasakis H2 and the suzuki recursion concept)
