doug, you should totally get into motorcycles and do some write up with that. I want to see your wit in that world :D

first one that jumps ot my mind was on my old buell blast. first bike, 2 weeks into my motorcycling life (started at 16)
when down a road i had been on with a buddy the day before...in the OPPOSITE direction (this is important)

first day, we took a increasing radius turn and i was able to power out of it and feel like

if its lower then your front axle, run it over.

bonus to the santa costume: you can get the attractive girls/guys to sit on you lap and get to non-ashamedly ask them if they have been naughty or nice :D

gaahhhhhhhh, these triumphs are soooo nice.... I WILL have one to replace my SV650

once you start to push , the differences are made shockingly clear.

plus, i drove a rental camry ONCE. for 30ft. the brakes had so little feedback....good god.

RWD GT != FWD commuter sedan

had a buddy who did this to a grand caravan. funny as all hell

how many gears man?

LOL tav

yes.

what, is it weird for a guy to want 2 different styles of bike but cant decide which to get first?

I think you might have missed the satire there.

do the KT m. I test rode one a few months ago. WONDERFULL little big. if i was just looking for a new commuter, tht would def be on the list

yep.

the daytona would be a new day-to-day bike, but its not something tht i would take to gymkhana.

this owuld be a second bike to my SV and be the new gkymkhana machine. with the trimuph joining it after that

hmm. keep us updated. this might make me put off plan for a daytona 675r and get this instead....

yes they are. I work for a motorcycle school in canada. groms are all we buy these days. (aside from left over stock)

Sean, i know i’m late..but does this thing have a 6 speed trans?

i have a BMW F800R (dads bike)

its not a BAD machine by any means of the word...but it has some short comnings (note, i’m speaking of the R, not the GS)

motor is VERY buzzy @ hwy speeds. we threw on handle bar weights...but it is still there) and 4-5-6th are all dam near identical.

but very comfy bike. eats up the hwy

neither was I. but i was shocked at how gutless the motor was. my old buell blast could have given that porker a run for its money in the quarter mile.

I ended up with a SV650. pulls WAY way harder then the NC.

Also rode a CB500X. i would rather have that then the 700, honest to god.

the NC is a junk bike...shit suspesnion, and the motor is so under powered..I got off and made sure it was a 700 written on the side, and tht i didnt accidentally grab the 500
