I’ve only watched a little bit of AHS here and there.  Is this series using the existing storylines as inspiration (like the Rubber Man), so it helps to have seen the original show?  Or is it going to stray from established AHS lore and do it’s own thing?

I think it’s a bit harsh to comment on how Noel/Sandi and Paul/Prue behave towards the contestants, especially when the contestants are having a bad day. We have no idea what occurred and was recorded, but wound up on the cutting room floor by the producers after the fact. I’m not suggesting N/S and P/P are perfect

How about they just make a Shadowrun movie, using tropes of the Tolkien fantasy world (orcs, elves, wizards, monsters, etc.), but with a sci-fi twist? It’s not popular enough to get a bunch of fanboy backlash if it’s not 100% faithful, it’s just different enough, but familiar enough for non-fans to get on board, plus

I also thought it was going to go in a more interesting, darker direction. I thought his girlfriend was going to get pregnant. He makes the point that he’s just starting to take off, so the distraction of a baby is something he can’t have in his life right now. She’s a lawyer, but she’s willing to make changes to

I got that impression, too.  There’s no way he just happened to be walking along the same strip of road where one of the attackers lived; it really felt like it was intentional.

To be fair, they’ve pretty much made him an invincible superhero since the first sequel. “With a Vengeance” is as close as we’ve come to the original, vulnerable hero, which is probably why it’s the best of the sequels.

I can tell you what they’d say, because they already said it:
