Internships? Part-time work? Volunteer work related to what you want to do?

Well I don't type on other computers very often. My work computer and home computers are pretty much the only ones I use. I CAN still type on QWERTY, sometimes for logging in though I have to stop and remember it's not Dvorak.

Man, I type with Dvorak so I have to stop and think when I log into a computer that the keyboard layout is set to QWERTY haha.

This stuff actually makes me like cleaning since when I'm done, whatever I'm cleaning is ACTUALLY clean.

Emotiva Mini-x. It's actually a full-blown speaker amp meant to drive bookshelf speakers. You are correct that most headphone amps on a/v receivers are awful. I had other dedicated headphone amps (Schiit Lyr, HeadRoom ultra mini, Anedio D1 & D2) but the speaker amp worked well. The I haven't tried the HE-560s, but if

Yes, they are quite a bit more difficult to drive. I had the HE-500s and HE-400s as well. The 500s were great for the price. I had a Lyr and liked it for the 500s, but it didn't do the 6's justice. I actually did use the Emotiva amp like you said. I never had a problem with noise so it worked out well. My Anedio D2

They were HiFiMan HE-6s. A sublime sounding set of cans if they are driven correctly, which I actually did with a speaker amp. They take lots of juice haha

Well, the best headphones I've ever heard (and owned) were $1300. Obviously you're way into diminishing returns by this point, but they did sound heavenly. Other cheaper headphones were very good as well, and probably a better value, but like you've said, it depends on what you listen to and what you care about.
