Noo I was referring to the A4 CPU and GPU vs. the 3GS...

The A4 was a shitty upgrade from the 3GS. Which is why I'm waiting for the 5th gen.

Lol it's a Crysis cloak on an iPhone.

Also...what's with the hexagon pattern and "Cloak Engaged"? Copying Crytek I see?

Why do you guys even care? What exactly is Apple going to do with this information? Stalk you? Kill you? No..maybe something more like tracking user activities so they know what to work on for future firmwares...or using them for iAds?

Does the 6670 beat the 5750?

Well all phones can do stereoscopic 3D...I even have a couple stereo-3D games on my iPod.

Who needs streaming? uTorrent on your computer + 32GB iPod touch and you're all set.

You can do a lot more on a big screen than a small screen. apple hans't taken proper advantage of the screen space yet, but with the proper UI enhancements, yes it is innovation.

What loading crap? There is no loading crap. It takes you eaxctly where you left off.b

Another thing...I doubt devs are going to utilze this soon. Firemint and EA have added anti-aliasing and better textures to their iPad games, but nothing major.

Personally I want to see OpenCL support in iOS 5. All that GPU power is wasted for anyone that isn't playing a game.

Well the Xoom seems to score higher than the iPad 2 in browser benchmarks, but somehow the iPad manages faster loading times, even with Flash on the Xoom disbaled. Really weird. No direct comparison for CPU performance yet though, but on PCMag the iPad scored much higher on Linpack.

1024*768@29fps = 22806528 pixels/second

1024*768@29fps = 22806528 pixels/second

That's not the only factor here. Memory bandwidth on mobile devices is depressing at best.

Oh but look!

The Tegra 3 isn't coming for a few months and on paper the Qualcomm Scorpion isn't as good either. So yeah we'll be bathing in the sun for a year.

In many tests the iPad's score is over 100% higher. Unfortunately your frame rate isn't cut in half from a small 25% bump in resolution.

Uh better GPU = better performance in media editing tools like iMovie and Photobooth and better performance when outputting your screen @ 1080P and if Apple brings OpenCL support in iOS 5 your applications will be accelerated by the GPU, which is hundreds of times faster than the CPU to begin with.
