It doesn't show 158.9 FPS because the benchmark hit iOS's 60 FPS cap. If the cap was nonexistent, you would see bigger margins.

SGX543 was announced in 2009 too.
You can't see the X9 because iOS has a frame rate cap of 60 FPS. When you can't get past 60 FPs you can't see all the power there.
What the hell? Who told you it has dual core Cortex-A8s? Both iFixIt and AnandTech say it has Cortex-A9s.
A5 GPU benchmarked!!
Oh look! AnandTech benchamrked the A5 GPU:

Gizmodo...you n00bs. Engadget says there is no clear proof of this.
You do realize that the Xperia Play is a bunch of marketing BS from Sony to milk some extra cash out of the original PSP line before releasing the NGP? Only a total idiot would buy an Xperia play knowing that a 10X more powerful NGP is coming soon. And this is Xoom vs. iPad. No Experia Play there hmm? And if…
1080P full HD playback? On a screen that isn't even 720P? Useless...Te onyl format my iPod doesn't support is wmv. Otherwise everything else I try works.
Also...there are how many Android devices? So many random ones...going from 500 MHz 3.0" ones to dual core 4.3" ones.
Also I'm a PC gamer and I have a GTX 460 in my rig. Nvidia hasn't done crap in making games better for my computer. Almost all my games are console ports. I still love my graphics card though.
And how do you know it's not using the MP2 variant?
Omg! Nanosuit 3.0!
Well not a direct comparison yet...but the SGX543MP2 which is the most likely GPU candidate, does eat the Tegra 2's GeForce ULV.
It does not have 256MB RAM. It's not really possible to boast 9X the graphics performance without increasing the RAM. Also the SGX543MP2 is about twice as fast as a Tegra 2. If it is the single core variant they will be equal. It will have 512MB LPDDR2 at the least.
I'm so happy with the A5. I was going to get a Xoom but the A5 eats the Tegra 2 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Definitely buying this.
Wow the A5 is amazing. dual Core SGX543 graphics @ 200 MHz per core eats the Tegra 2 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We will probably see an iOS 5 preview as well.
