I don't get this. Is there anyone who held off buying beatles music because it wasn't on iTunes? Will iTunes have a vastly different catalog than was previously available? I don't get why this is supposed to be a big deal. Can someone shed some light on this?

@The5thElephant: Did you use plex 0.9 when it first dropped? they've really updated the media manager. but i doubt that matters to you since it seems like you won't reinstall it.

these sms tones are miserable. and i was hoping for airprint to airport but no dice... frankly, other than airtunes and a search this page on safari i don't see too many worthwhile changes on the iphone.

The 3GS had one glass surface. The 4G has 2 glass surfaces. The break rate is almost 2:1. I can't say I'm surprised by this at all.

Given the state of the economy, I wonder if rather than choosing not to pay the family simply couldn't afford to pay. Granted, $75 isn't that much and I'm sure more families in the area will now find ways to pay.

@Jordan Dunn: That's our punishment for living in Detroit. The Grand Rapids area has 4G from Sprint but the much larger Detroit Metro area doesn't. That should give you a good idea of corporate attitude towards the area.

@Channan: I don't follow. Why do you need this to have push? You can forward everything from google voice to your email and set your gmail to push on your iphone, right? I mean, that's what I do. Now it will even push email notifications that I've missed a phone call.

@failtroll: Most likely, this product has been in R&D for some time. I doubt, sincerely, that apple's design changed the look, function, and production of this within the last month. What seems more likely to you: Sony had a generic watch-like product in this form for several months or sony copied the nano form within…

@Bixmen: Use a different program for your videos? Unless it's iTunes only format there are many better options: Plex, boxee, and XBMC all spring to mind.
