Sorry, I’m not clever enough to be able to guess or infer what the “worst part about running for President is” that was off the record. Can someone spell it out for me?

My commencement speaker raped 54 women, usually by slipping roofies in their drinks.

He also thought that China paid tariffs on goods that the US imports, so that China was putting money directly into the US treasury. In reality, the importing companies (e.g. Vandelay industries) pay tariffs and pass the fees onto the consumer.

If you haven’t watched Game of Thrones before, can you please also write a review on the final episode where you complain the whole time that nothing makes sense?

Agreed. And *were* played by ear, there was no cohesive story planned across the three movies (from what I’ve read). How is that possibly a good idea?

Didn’t read the article, but I’m assuming he’s a Republican.

While I agree with you, you could have made this same point without being such a dick about it, which takes away from what you’re trying to say.

I don’t come in here often, so maybe this is a well-traveled conversation, but aren’t touch screens in cars asking for distracted driving? The more you reduce tactical feedback for things like climate control, audio, etc., the more you have to look away from the road to be able to make these changes as you drive.

Regarding this ‘stolen’ joke:

Sick! So in this one they go to Mordor?

Nice, I love when trailers spoil the movie.

Eh, there are 300 million people in the USA. Not every one of them has learned every social convention that you think is normal.

You may say all of this reflects badly on the precautions that Trump takes to protect national security, but at least he didn’t use a private email server to send non-classified emails.

I’m sure there’s justification for this in the Bible somewhere.

I’ll be there with you depending on how 11/2020 goes.

No prob and my bad for coming off that way. Keep fighting the good fight, we are on the same side.

I hate to be that guy, but Life Liberty And The Pursuit of Happiness was in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution. Great post though.

I don’t know if your last few sentences were sarcastic but I was being sincere. I have engaged in many a flame war in my life but have reduced that the past few years and am just trying to give some advice to others. I literally try to use that metric about deathbeds as a way to gauge whether some things are important

I gently suggest you spend less mental energy on trying to broadcast what somebody in the Splinter comments section is saying. This debate, between two people over multiple Splinter articles, is literally the least important thing in the world. One day you will die, and on your deathbed you will look back with regret

I take a video instead of them standing awkwardly for 15 seconds. Works great for large groups.
