Agree 100%. The only real scoops are things like Manti Te’o or Chris Mortenson lying about the degree to which the Patriots footballs were underinflated. Things that show up in the transaction registry are not scoops whatsoever.

One problem is that we are being trained by FaceBook not to remember Birthdays anymore, because we assume we’ll get a reminder about it. It’s like how (for those of us in our 30's) 20 years ago you could remember dozens of your friends phone numbers, but now, I might know four of them.

I want to change my birthday on Facebook just to see how many people wish me Happy Birthday on the fake date. Then I’ll know whom to unfriend.

I’m a Patriots fan. Since Kraft bought the team, no player has ever played for us who ever beat up a woman. The day we sign one of those players is the day I stop rooting for them and turn off the game.
