Yeah, it’s not really a big deal... but it’s still stupid. Just say Male and Female body types.

To answer your question, when you boot up Elden Ring into the character creator, it asks you if you want to be Body Type “A or B” without showing you which one is which. It’s just silly. Just say “Masculine or Feminine” body types. Despite whatever gender you ascribe to, can’t we all agree that most human bodies only…
I’ve got no horse in this race, but I’m glad it’s a specific option as opposed to the ridiculous “Body Type A & B” in Elden Ring which just confuses everyone.
I can’t speak for Sandman or RoP, but in Andor’s case, I’d argue that it’s a good slow burn. It feels like a show catered to adults, not glorified children’s media like the rest of Disney’s Star Wars slop.
I really liked this one I watched a while back. Really interesting how this phenomenon can be a negative for both sides. It feeds women’s social media addiction* and men’s porn addiction* in one fell swoop. And I don’t think the “dust will settle” on this. I think it’s going to be increasingly common as the internet…
Imagine not using uBlock Origin (or the AdBlock Browser on mobile) in 2022. I don’t know if I could function online without it.
I know this is an old article that was re-published recently, but I wanted to mention that the link to the “bathroom in Manhunt” on Number 8 (GTA III) is a link to a virus. Luckily my virus detector caught it, but you may want to remove that hyperlink.
I re-read it just now, and it while it was more neutral than I remembered, but it’s full of little jabs that seem very condescending.
You’re assuming waay too much. Most people seem confused that Kotaku, a website that as recently as 2o19 criticised Overwatch porn, is now promoting porn games. It just seems hypocritical.
Yeah, I came to this article to say this. Not even 3 years ago there was an article lambasting Overwatch porn for... *gasp* being aimed at a straight male audience *someone in the audience faints*.
No, my take is that many people are using it as an unhealthy, escapist coping mechanism and genuine connections on VRChat are few and far between. My point was that the documentary is probably shying away from this topic, as well as the rest of the “real VRChat”.
I haven’t seen this movie yet, but reading this article confirmed my suspicions that the documentary would gloss over major points regarding VRChat. My younger brother “dated” a girl in VR for 3-ish years and they met once in person. She was a broken person, went to rehab a few times (for weed addiction of all things)…
I’ve never played the PS4 version or the sequel, but the PS3 version has these intentionally swimmy camera controls that feel super imprecise. As in, a half-second delay between you moving the stick and the camera reacting. I will never understand why that thought that was a good idea in a game about precision…
This game has always been on my wishlist, but playing the demo, I found the price just SLIGHTLY too steep for what it is (considering Mann vs Machine is free in Team Fortress 2). Oddly enough, I was just thinking about the game yesterday and I had never even seen any of this marketing until today.
There’s a Cool World game on SNES???
I agree. I don’t play FF14, but I see lots of people draw or commission art of their characters online, and they all look identical to me. Seems to me that every time I see footage of the game, people only choose the sexy rabbit ladies and they always look identical to each other at first glace.
I came to the comments to say this too. Dragon’s Dogma somehow strikes an amazing balance between deep customizability and simple, accessible options. I’m playing DD for the first time right after having beaten Elden Ring, and I’m surprised that a game from 2012 has a character creator that rivals FromSoft’s latest…
“All I’ve ever wanted was another person’s touch.”
You sound like a rambling madman. Nobody is becoming desensitized to war or mass-genocide because they think Darth Vader looks cool with his space-samurai outfit and laser sword.
I came down here to say the same thing. For example, Twitter is one of the largest social media platforms on the internet, and has enough porn on it to make it a legitimate competitor to traditional porn sites. If Twitch decided to focus on a more mature push for its platform, I think it would do well.
