I don’t own New Horizons, so I don’t really know how annoying this guy is, but here ya go.

Yours reminds me of when I watch movie credits in a dark theater. As soon as the credits stop moving, it looks like the whole world is moving downwards for about a minute. I guess my brain is doing the same “counter-balance” thing that happened with you.
Set the font size the LARGE then. It’s in the settings. I agree that tiny font is a problem in most games, but cherry picking and leaving out information to prove a point in your article is kinda lame.
There is a dedicated FONT SIZE option in the game, something that this article neglects to say.
Now if only the audio was mixed properly, then I could stomach the song. Seriously. Every rip of the song has the background audio overbearing the lyrics towards the latter half of the song. It’s unbearable.
I still wish for the team to turn this show into a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure-type story where every few seasons follows another Belmont in the lineage. Still, I’m interested in seeing where this goes.
It’s animated to simulate an overexposed camera, which makes skin tones seem lighter.
It’s animated to simulate an overexposed camera. It’s not whitewashing. Kotaku’s on their bullshit again.
People don’t seem to understand the concept of “overexposure” when filming. I know this is animated, but it’s made to look that way.
Looks like some people don’t know how filming light works. I haven’t watched the show, but these clips seem drawn to look like the “camera” that’s “filming” these shots is overexposed, hence the large amount of bloom in the background. This makes things like skin tones “blown out” or excessively bright compared to how…
This is exactly why I don’t have any interest in new Animal Crossing games when they’re announced, because I have such a strong emotional connection to my childhood Gamecube town that can’t bear to leave it behind in favor of another. Even though I only revisit my GC town roughly once a year, it’s still nice to check…
Maybe it’s a good thing it got delayed. I forgot this game existed until they announced the delay.
I’ve no interest in playing Control, but I get what you mean. As embarrassed as I am to say it, power in video games can make me feel horny too. Playing Brutal Doom, Postal 2 and killing the same room of NPCs over and over again in Fallout: New Vegas have given me some interesting boners, as uncomfortable as that…
I agree with you on Hollow Knight. I’ve gotten more desk-slammingly furious at that game (which I still haven’t completed) than I have during both my Dark Souls 1 and 3 playthroughs.
I desperately want this to get some sort of theatrical release in America. Something akin to Promare’s limited run would suffice. I just really want to watch this on the big screen.
I am not a Pokemon fan, but as an animation student with experience in 3D software, I know how difficult it is to deal with modeling, rigging, texturing and animating stuff. Do you really expect it to be realistic to do that for 890 unique Pokemon in a single game? Even with a big team, that’s a daunting task.
Why is anyone surprised by the fact that it’s VR? This game’s existence and premise has been leaked many times for many years now.
That's the point. It's supposed to be stupid. That's RE5's whole appeal. It's a fun co-op action game with a campy action movie plot. There are countless things my friends and I quote from that game that are simply hilarious.
Preparation is key for lots of this stuff. I downloaded my newest drivers and downloaded the game overnight the day before. I had no problems doing that. Although it is irritating that it wants to download more shaders when you launch the game. I really hope there’s a good reason the game warrants this install size.…
This is totally because of all the March/April releases, I just know it. Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing, Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy 7 are just a few in the running and I’m not surprised Sony pushed it back. They could have just needed more time to work on the game, but my guess is that this is just a result of…
