People don’t seem to understand the concept of “overexposure” when filming. I know this is animated, but it’s made to look that way.

Looks like some people don’t know how filming light works. I haven’t watched the show, but these clips seem drawn to look like the “camera” that’s “filming” these shots is overexposed, hence the large amount of bloom in the background. This makes things like skin tones “blown out” or excessively bright compared to how…
This is exactly why I don’t have any interest in new Animal Crossing games when they’re announced, because I have such a strong emotional connection to my childhood Gamecube town that can’t bear to leave it behind in favor of another. Even though I only revisit my GC town roughly once a year, it’s still nice to check…
Maybe it’s a good thing it got delayed. I forgot this game existed until they announced the delay.
I’ve no interest in playing Control, but I get what you mean. As embarrassed as I am to say it, power in video games can make me feel horny too. Playing Brutal Doom, Postal 2 and killing the same room of NPCs over and over again in Fallout: New Vegas have given me some interesting boners, as uncomfortable as that…
I agree with you on Hollow Knight. I’ve gotten more desk-slammingly furious at that game (which I still haven’t completed) than I have during both my Dark Souls 1 and 3 playthroughs.
I am not a Pokemon fan, but as an animation student with experience in 3D software, I know how difficult it is to deal with modeling, rigging, texturing and animating stuff. Do you really expect it to be realistic to do that for 890 unique Pokemon in a single game? Even with a big team, that’s a daunting task.
Why is anyone surprised by the fact that it’s VR? This game’s existence and premise has been leaked many times for many years now.
That's the point. It's supposed to be stupid. That's RE5's whole appeal. It's a fun co-op action game with a campy action movie plot. There are countless things my friends and I quote from that game that are simply hilarious.
Preparation is key for lots of this stuff. I downloaded my newest drivers and downloaded the game overnight the day before. I had no problems doing that. Although it is irritating that it wants to download more shaders when you launch the game. I really hope there’s a good reason the game warrants this install size.…
This is totally because of all the March/April releases, I just know it. Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing, Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy 7 are just a few in the running and I’m not surprised Sony pushed it back. They could have just needed more time to work on the game, but my guess is that this is just a result of…
If Paul Verhoeven made a cyberpunk film, I’d expect that Kioxia ad to play on someone’s tv within the movie.
Why didn’t you put the winners for Animation? Is the stigma for animation really THAT bad you won’t show a comprehensive list of the winners?
I saw it at Anime Expo and enjoyed it thoroughly (aside from heckles from the audience). I’m just curious, what didn’t you like about it?
Speaking of P.T., I recently found out that Junji Ito was going to be a consultant on Silent Hills. I keep learning things about this game that make me insanely sad it never came out. Resident Evil 7 is probably the closest I’ll get to having it, but man does it suck not having the real thing.
I agree. I always think that using photoshop to touch up cosplay photos is counter-intuitive. Let the costume speak for itself!
I’ve had Super Mario Sunshine since launch and played it immensely as a kid. I still haven’t beaten it.
It stands for “involuntary celibate”. It’s most commonly attributed to virgins who blame women for their inability to get laid. As a virgin myself, I find it upsetting when people make fun of others just because they haven’t had sex yet, but in the case of these toxic incels, I’d say any and all mockery towards them…
Collecting things just to have them seems like such a ridiculous effort. If they put it in a museum, that’s one thing, but all that effort just for bragging rights? I love buying retro games, but for the purpose of playing them. However, because of collector culture, buying these games can be harder than it should be.…
