If anyone is willing to put in the time to create a video game, then more power to them, but I can’t for the life of me see why people would want to emulate pre-Doom FPS games. FPS Games like Wolfenstein 3D and Catacomb 3D do not hold up AT ALL in my opinion. Level design is important to me I guess.

I wonder how they will handle the “Mushroom Hunting” episode (if at all) in our current landscape. The original episode was a purposely satirical homage to old blaxploitation films, but I’m sure that wouldn’t sit well with a modern audience.
