once my kid drove I got hours and hours of my life back because I no longer had to drive them all over the place for activities.

I’m smarter than that. I didn’t let my kids get a license until they were 18. Less insurance.”

I didn’t totally grasp how the economy worked in terms of dealers and used cars”

Too bad it does not have the tan baseball stitched seats. Those with the green exterior really look nice.

trust me, friend — we beat on that starter like it owed us money, and we were fully unable to get the slightest response

Those mopar audio controls on the back of the wheel are awesome, intuitive to use, and one of the things I miss about my old car. I don’t think in 7 years of ownership  I ever used the radio controls on the actual radio

If you want EV customers, you have to make them feel cool. Everybody but Tesla has failed at that, though the Mach E and the Lightning are making a strong case.

The Birds are underappreciated by the market, so that $30k will go a long way if you want an attractive, reliable driver rather than a high-point show dog and don’t insist on certain rarities (e.g., an authentic factory Sport Roadster). I agree with everything in this post.

1961-66 Thunderbird - Fairly common, straight-forward to work on (except for the convertibles) and highly underappreciated IMO. Watch out for rust though.

I don’t mind not liking crossovers, but it’s tiring to see people pretend to not understand why people buy them.

Nothing smaller than a St Bernard is more like it. Unless it walks on 2 legs and  looks “human”

I won’t swerve for anything smaller than a deer and even then, it is 50/50. If you have good brakes/tires and no one behind you, modern ABS should save you from most incidents depending on speed and environment.

I wouldn’t even swerve for the cat, if I’m honest. I’ve ran over a coyote before. It has got to be taller than the hood before I’ll start consider swerving, anything below that and it is more dangerous to yourself to start swerving than it is to just hit it. That is what I was told at Drivers Ed. I did ask if that

In my very early 20's I was engaged to a model. She was stunning and I (just a poor working schmo) felt like a King when we went out and all the heads turned to see her and wonder how I managed that. I soon found out (after living together) how much maintenance she required to look that way and that her entire life

Your use of large complex words has led me to believe that you are correct. Thank you wise sage.
