Ballerina Root…. sigh

And thinking about loved ones not there with them.

I also like to think "Twisted Sister" was a clue re the perpertrator

"In scenes not unlike those from A Christmas Carol"
Except much lamer.

HAMMER! ANVIL! HAMMER! ANVIL!

my favorite outburst was a commenter at IGN who was not only unhappy about the lesbian thing but upset because the show had made it perfectly clear that John and Shaw were, or should be, a couple AS WERE Root and Finch.

And Root was all but climbing the damn cage. Finch should know better…

At the NYCC, Nolan and Plageman actually said that Bear was the only character guaranteed to survive.

My (totally non-ironic) theory re Root and Shaw is their relationship will transcend reality and carry on virtually either because Shaw is simply too damaged post Samaritan or just not willing/able to handle an actual real-life Root/Shaw relationship and it just feels like Root will make some kind of glorious kick ass

And boy, did the Stupid Homophobic Right-Wingers on Facebook (TM) resurface in a big way after 6471, along with their loosely aligned allies, the I'm not Homophobic but We Don't Need This Stupid Fanservice Bullsh*t Sputterers

Maybe they'll turn him into a double agent. Since Root got away without so much as wounding him, he doesn't seem that impressive an operative.

Those 3 and Control too.

I'm still hoping, for Shaw's sake and possibly strategic reasons, that Team Machine discovers what she's gone through, and wondering if these "baby AI" simulations end up intersecting with what we saw in 6471.

In several interviews Plageman's made the same statement about this season having no filler. I'm assuming, given the abbreviated length and the scope of the conflict, that major element introduced in every episode is relevant to the ongoing narrative, including Elias, even though I have no idea what he could bring,

It would be great if somehow the Machine gets ahold of the info from the simulation and it's used strategically in some way ( or just narratively, to give us more feelz).

Do you mean the bit where Root tells her to lead the way? Because that was weird.

Samaritan would have had access to the feeds from the Stock Exchange, wouldn't they? Shaw didn't kiss the whole team goodbye.

What I don't get is how substantially detailed the church location was. I was wondering if that was Samaritan or Shaw. Is it the same church where the Lambert/Root/Martine/Reese standoff occurred before Root met with Gabriel?

They clearly know about the Root Shaw relationship. Or did you mean about Shaw being a sociopath?

Aw man, I loved that show.
