Philly had an ABL team, which is why they never got a team when the league started. Dawn Staley played for them, but when that league folded, the NBA never filled the void. As for Houston, it’s a shame that billionaire owner of the Rockets wouldn’t acquire a WNBA team and bring back the Comets.
