The EB makes way more power than the EcoDiesel. It’s still a turbocharged gasser. If you’re hard on it (faster than 10 seconds 0-60) it will drink fuel.

Yep, same in my 2005 WRX. Remember we’re at record vehicle sales, that means air bag demand is at an all time high. Plus there’s a ton of cost to redesign, verify and get the new parts into production. It’s not like they’re making little stamped brackets.

There are only a handful of airbag manufacturers, they can’t go into receivership or stop production the industry does not have the excess capacity.

As soon as a company looks like it’s going under all the suppliers start demanding cash on delivery and it snowballs from there.
