Looks very nice but like the last generation I think it will get old quickly. Kia/Hyundai seem to have the initial reception nailed on their vehicles but they do not age well at all. Still glad to see solid products coming out.

Typical response from someone who owned a neglected BMW.

You guys are very lucky in that respect. Can't own anything up here very long because of the salt they put on the roads in the winter. The positive side to that is it tends to reveal a car's true quality a lot sooner.

Quite true engine wise, but in terms of safety the corrosion has these things falling apart to no end. Radiator supports dropping out, rusted through fuel lines, brake lines, power steering, auto trans cooler lines and broken control arms. The engine takes a beating, the car will not and is guaranteed to leave you

Early 2000s impalas are the biggest piles of junk, if you want a first car money pit that is a great choice. Trust me on this one we have seen one too many heartaches from our customers that did not listen to this advise.

Why don't people cut their own hair, fix their own homes, make all their own meals, ect, ect? Most people don't have time, tools, knowledge. Most people don't want to get dirty. Overall I'm glad, I hate when we have a customer come in that tried to perform their own repairs/maintenance and really screwed something up.

Sad

Financial is no surprise, who would trust a woman with their money? People know their wive's and girlfriend's spending habits. It's too bad her shoe collection isn't an appreciating investment.

Why is this even news? It's the equivalent of announcing a new line of washing machines. Such an incredibly boring vehicle who cares what they do with the design.

They need to match the price so they can discount it $10k like every other American car. People aren't buying regular ATSs as it is for a reason, it's not as good as the competition. Personally I think the ATS is a great looking car with a lot to offer, I would buy one for the low resale and solid performance. I

Should have changed the names. The previous Colorado/Canyon was a huge huge pile of junk and people remember that.

In my time working as a tech for BMW we had a few buybacks during the first few years of the N54 engine, namely with fuel system problems. Once the car was returned by the customer we were still required to figure out what the problem was and fix it. We battled one for months and months once that kept setting lean

It's a pile of junk, that's why no one is buying them. Nearly everything it competes with is a better car.

No, and your post didn't disappear.

I have yet to meet one satisfied ecoboost truck owner here in Syracuse, NY where pick-ups are very popular (4x4). Numerous problems, same-as-v8 fuel mileage and expensive. Most truck guys still want a v8 and I think this trend will die out for now. Anyone that can afford one of these $50k plug rigs doesn't care about

Extremely reliable until about 150k miles....

The only issue with VW making a midsize SUV is that it will still be ridiculously expensive. My fiance's Tiguan is still an "S" model with every option and its sticker was $30K! If you want a truly loaded one it's over $40k. For a SUV that is based on the small golf that's pretty pricey considering you can get a

Our regular customer has an 89, and another a 95, I would agree it was improved drastically in the later years. It is fair to say everything in the 80's was pretty low quality compared to today. The sale prices indicate the market for c4s though, and they are quite low other than ZR-1s. The zr-1 is a very neat car,

Because it is a pile of junk. Cheap is the best way to describe it, and it is probably the worst looking Corvette ever made, a toss up between the c3 and c4 for worst (IMO). I've driven and worked on every generation (besides c7) of Corvette and while I think the c4 actually drives fantastic it is so low quality it's

That's not how it works. If you go through life being a pussy never speaking your mind perhaps. He initiated the conversation and added financial details that he didn't have to add, he got what he deserved. Grow up dude, sounds like you are as butt hurt as the Lexus owner.
