I feel like no matter where you’re from, if you’re attending college you probably ought to know that Tokyo is not in China.
I feel like that manager deprived the health department of a really amusing experience, though.
Gotta go with the old 911s. Sticking the engine behind the rear axle is bad enough (it gives the rear of the car a pendulum effect which causes unstable transitions to oversteer). Then add in trailing arm suspension that toes out under cornering and has terrible roll center geometry. The toe out under roll causes snap…
Wrong. You’re all wrong. It’s the Ford RS200. It’s devastatingly pretty, but elegance and grace are not words I’d use.
Now given that this is an enthusiast site, most of us, myself included, will go out for a drive or a ride just for fun, and we will do that whether gas costs $4 or $1, because that’s our hobby. To bring up a business school term, gasoline has enormous price elasticity.
I pretty much never talk to any co workers except via email and they all sit just a few feet away from me.
Hopefully he takes their decades-long consistent reputation for abhorrent vehicular reliability with him.

We pool our funds for community property (house), and we discuss finances and purchases, but even in marriage we are independent people. I'd be happy to buy her something more exotic, but she doesn't want it. So I encouraged her to find the car…
Just because you may have a disposable income doesn’t necessarily mean you want to dispose of it. So they don’t want to blow cash on gas, why does it matter?
Wow, some unbelievable stories here. I have a couple of my own (too late to make the presses). A few years back, an Ivy-League MBA friend of mine (who just happened to be female) asked for my help with buying a car. Contrary to some, I love the car-buying process, so I took a day and we went test-driving. Now this…
The Honda CR-Z. It’s the exact same formula as the original CR-X: cheap, underpowered, fuel effecient and fun to drive. Yet somehow, nowone likes this perfect platform for dropping a K20R in...
When I first read about the Pontiac Aztek I thought it sounded like a really cool idea, and a great and fun utility vehicle. The idea of the tent was so cool! Then it came out, and it was like they held a phone conference and were shouting ideas and had one engineer to take notes and he had ADD and his pen ran out of…
